I am looking into the ps2 modding scene. And I'm thinking about getting a Magic V modchip for my v7 ps2. I would like to know if there are any flaws with this modchip and if it is a good choice for me.
Also, I would like to know if the Magic V will still allow me to use my network adaptor.
And is there a modchip better than Magic V that is around the same price of the Magic V?

The magic V is a great chip. It will do everything you need it to do.
