Well I started to get frustrated and bored by high school just this year. I'm accustomed to moving every two or three years and I've been in the same school district for more than three years now. The way I'm looking at it, I'm bored and it's time to move on and try something new. This also might have some relations with the "getting married" thread :P

Kinza,

I sure hope that you aren't suggesting that you want to get married right away after Graduating. You are not even 16 yet and have your whole life ahead of you. Trust me when I say that if you wait until at least 21, you will not be an old maid, and even 21 is too early to marry for most.

I don't have a definite decision yet but I am planning on getting married during or soon after college. I just think it's harder to adjust to your partner if you wait too long, and by too long I mean 25ish. This is just my opinon, and I think it's just part of my way of thinking, and it's just normal for me. Marriage isn't something I face with fear or disgust, I look forward to it, just something new to live with.

I've got an idea... Let's start a thread about your friends that just got married, and after one year, let?s see if they still think it was a great idea to do it that soon! :) Mean while you can share with them everything about college, the new people you are hanging out with, the parties that you?re going to, the events that you?re attending, and the places that you plan on visiting. :)

alright, if u say so, i'll just post it in the same old thread. one thing, the friend that got married, she didn't totally decide her marriage. she basically met the guy, they liked each other, and their parents arranged the marriage. i guarantee there won't be any tensions, 200%.

@ Kinza. Hi ya there Kinza!

For my eldest son, school was a breeze and had enough units to graduate as a Junior but he also wanted to hang with his buddies and he wanted to graduate at the same time as his friends, so he took bowling for a year - it was the only class he had as a senior. Good grief. But he graduated with all his friends and he went to the all-night party and had a lot of fun.

Then he went to Sacramento State and got his Bachelors in Business Administration; got recruited just before he graduated by a local company and is now a District Manager with 10 locations in the Bay Area (San Fran). He also got married and now has two wonderful children (my grandson and granddaughter) (he already had me :).

The reason I am telling you this is that he approached it trying to figure out a viable way to do pretty much what pleased him but also understanding that he had to set his goals and aspirations for the future. Had his fun; went to college; still had fun; started a decent career; got married; had kids; bought a house and a Denali. And he's only 28.

Take time to ponder your options; concider all the angles; if/when you marry, marry someone you want to spend the rest of your life with, and that person feels exactly the same about you.

Live richly - I'm not talking about wealth -

If you choose, make a bunch of little Kinza's but only after you know for sure - you have approached it with considerable thought.

And smile a lot and make every day your best day!
