ok i've checked through all the guides but havne't really found anything that answers what i'm wanting to know.
everything has gone great so far. i'm up to when i boot the psone game it will take me to the loading screen and it says ready. from there is where i'm having trouble.
it says to eject the cd so i'm guessing that actually means pressing the eject button. i'll eject it and put in my retail copy of Onimusha 3, because i'm guessing it has a large TOC. when i do this i'm not sure if i need to press a button after i insert it or waht, but the dvd starts spinning and dosen't read anything at the bottom and never tells me to cogswap. what is the average time you have to wait before it tells you to switch cds?
any help would be greatly appreciated

not sure if this is the same as the mem card exploit, but that's what I use sometimes and this is what happens.

use trigger ps1 disc to load exploit, then, for dvd boot, use flip top to swap for cdloader, then eject and insert high toc disc once toc has refreshed press x, then when on screen display says "insert dvdr by ea method", swap again for backup and press x.

for cd boot, at exploit menu just eject and insert high toc cd then wait for message ps2 cdrom (disc also turns blue), then swap for backup and press x.

yes this is the mem card exploit
but after the exploit loads, if i swap anything the disc dosen't read. the only way it'll read is if i press the eject button to insert something.

sounds like you've installed something wrong, what were the files that you put on the exploit disc?

one thing i wasn't sure about was if i should have used the system.cnf from the game i planned on using as my boot or if i were to use the one in the packet and just use the number of the psone game for the title.db.

I've got to get some sleep now, but I can give you the files I used if you want to try them, or make an image for you if you give me the disk id of your ps1 game.
