Paul Allen, the founder of Ancestry.com and "Google+'s unofficial statistician" has noted today that the social network is now used by 62 million people.
Additionally, Allen says the network is adding 625,000 new users every day.

Google is an Electric Library, The main difference is that is is not tangible. If ever we were to have a major disaster, Books would survive but electronic data wont. History could be wiped with a few strokes of the keys. In ancient times, when one country took another, they would burn the enemies libraries,status,etc..
