When I use a VCR to record vhs to vhs, I lose a generation of resolution. When I record vhs to svhs the output looks the same to me. (No loss of resolution). Same when I record laserdisc to svhs. What do I choose in recording vhs, or svhs to hard disc? If I use "fine" will it look the same? Or is SP best? Same question going from hdd to disc. I lack a basic understanding of the process here. Can someone please explain?
