article published on 1 January, 2012

I wonder how long until the prices get sensible?
3 years?

.....I notice the size too, 55".
Cue for another hike in what we're supposed to put in our living rooms
(wall mount on those kind of sizes will be essential for most I'd bet......and the neck pain as so many people insist on placing them at heights you have to keep looking up significantly to watch will only spread!)

Good luck getting your HDMI. DVI + Optical and junk into that... Its all pointless as long as their are wires attached. And no, wireless (right now) doesnt have the bandwidth or price point to be able to make its way to TV + Home Theatre.

Your empty, uninformed, comment makes you a fanboy. Yes even you, who thinks they arent a fanboy.

i think some sort of interface box with an uplink to the display is in order.

everything connects to the box which is in the wall or cabinet and 1 cable goes to the display.

DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNN!!! That screen is just bananas!!! Makes my top of the line Panasonic Viera with pro set ISF adjustments look like a grainy WW2 picture. I'm really diggin the almost nonexistent bezel too. And with a picture that phuqin amazing will we ever really need 3D bullshit again?! If they did it with a TV like though I'm sure it would be stunning.
