hey im totally new at all of this is there any way i can conert mpegs to vob so i can burn on to dvd-r discs and play on my dvd player ? or can you tell me the programmesi need to use or any guides?

or can i just burn the mpegs straight to dvd-r and play on my dvd player isthis possible?

In order for them to work in your player you need to convert the clips in to a DVD compliant file structure. This may be of interest:

hi how do you know what sound you have ac3 or mp3 does it really take 20hours to encode?
