The Irish Music Rights Association (IRMA) has launched a formal action against Ireland over unauthorized music downloads. What seems to be the issue at hand is the Irish government promised last year to allow copyright holders to "compel" ISPs to block access to sites known to engage in music piracy. Ahh....Ireland.......God love them. Not much pull in the music industry BUT.....lest we forget where Def Leppard is from???

I suspect the ISPs are fighting back. They will suffer the most from the action. They have already paid off their law makers. Now they are telling their puppets to stonewall the operation. They will pay more than the media so they will win the hearts of the law makers.
