I never used Facebook but I wanted an ability to like something. So I made a Google+ account so I could +1 it.

I'd definitely use Google+ over Facebook if my friends jumped on board with it. Facebook has become complex as sh!t. Isn't that why Myspace died?

I'll just have to stick with Twitter for now.

# of accounts don't equal actual usage. Google's been desperately trying to get people to use Google+ for several months now, whether a pop-up on their main search page or a BS "Upgrade your account" link on YouTube. Trying to force account creations rather than being able to sell a service on its merits (if any) is pretty sketchy behavior, Google.
