got my backup to load WITHOUT pink border :)

not sure if this will work for everyone but seems to have fixed my problem.

1. Swap magic CD loads to menu
2. then hit "eject" button, it should say "insert bigger toc disk"
3. when the tray comes out put in swap magic DVD ( it says "refresh TOC" just wait...when its done it goes back to the menu screen but now at the bottom it says "insert your own program disk"
4. now lift up your flip top lid, take out the swap magic dvd and put in your back up game.

5.change the video mode to ntsc and then hit the "square" button on the controller. (if I hit any other button the game doesnt load, I just get the
pink border)

this is the first game i've backed up. (legaia 2) I used DVD decrypter and maxell DVD+R. My PS2 is version 4 ( I dont recommend maxell dvd+r's as I had to go through the above process twice to get my backup to work)
for my other games im going to use ritek DVD-R's and DVD decrypter.
I thought I had made a bad backup ...turns out I just wasnt using the swap magic right. hehe ~_~
