Don't understand manufactuerers insistance on keeping these always visible capacitive buttons. Having owned the Galixy Nexus for awhile I think they look rather tacky. Google should make it law that all new phones running ICS have to transition to software buttons. haha

The reason for the "hardware" buttons is simple. Lets say said "software" for some unforeseen reason doesn't work correctly. Granted the buttons themselves are software driven. At least they are always there to be touched.
