Apple showed off its new 4G LTE iPad today (9.4mm thin, 1.4lb), with data rates up to 73Mbps (on LTE, HSPA+ at 21Mbps and DC-HSPDA at 42Mbps). It can also be used as a personal hotspot, if supported by provider.

Sadly I was expecting more this to me is a lot like a iPAD 2S. I have a iPad 2 and not looking to buy the new one but i was hoping for something more and dont ask me what more they can really do cause i have no idea.

The speeds are the max Apple could achieve on the AT&T network.
If the screen's resolution is greater than 1080P, doesn't that mean that video playback will look kinda shitty because everything will have to be stretched for full screen? Or am I missing something, I don't know.

You'r missing a lot.
Stretching has to do with pixelaspect ratio not resolution.
