I've recently started having problems with my DVDshrink where it seems to have problems analyzing a DVD and hence turns the video preview screen green for a chapter or more(I backed up one dvd to see if it would burn this way as well and it did). No error messages pop up of any kind. The DVDs will play without any problems on both my DVD-drive and burner, but when I analyze them the green screen reappears and prevents me from backing up the disc. And, yes, i cleaned the disc and the problem still occurs. I searched for answers but found nothing. Any help would be appreciated for this strange problem.

Yes, and found it does this regardless of it being on or off. I usually disable the preview screen, for some reason I had it on and noticed the flaw happening. It happens often now too. I even uninstalled and installed Shrink too find the same problem still happening. I was able to finally back up the disc using DVDXCopy Platinum, which i generally never use.
Someone with any info please help. DVDshrink is refusing to work properly. I uninstalled and then installed the latest version with the same green screen problems. It refuses to analyze correctly any DVD i put in. This is an absolute headache.
dusty107, are you talking about the main preview, at the bottom-left of DVD Shrink window?
If yes, you could try changing the video-renderer:
"Edit >> Preferences >> Preview".
I don't know why it would have suddenly stopped working though. (???)
Have you made any changes to your system - new software, hardware, Windows update...?

I had the same thing happen at the weekend for the first time with Nero Recode 2+ ANYDVD combo.After cleaning the disc,Beatles Anthology 1,2 it was OK,

I've cleaned both disc and drives. Shrink is basically refusing to analyze DVDS. I've even done a system restore to get the shrink back to a date where there were no problems, still no good. I've been using Shrink with decrypter/ nero6 with out a single problem.
I burned a disc to see what it would look when played and the picture was frozen and blocky. This is just too weird. Won't properly analyze disc no matter what version. Always screws up a couple of chapters and almost all extras.
The thing is Decryptor works fine and so does dvdxcopy. Now i have to rip the iso with decrypter, open file with shrink, and burn with decryter or Nero.
I'm going to download the newest version of shrink which now burns.
I'll try the directX update but i doubt thats it.
Just plain weird.
