Verizon to double 4G LTE sites by end of year

Verizon has announced today that it is actively increasing 4G LTE sites in the U.S. and expects to have a network that covers 260 million people by the end of the year. Chief Technical Officer David Small noted Verizon will have "at least 400 markets" with 4G LTE sites by the start of 2013.
