Instagram, the massively popular iOS photo-filter and sharing app is finally headed to Android. The company has said this weekend that the Android version is almost ready, and co-founder Kevin Systrom even demoed the app at SXSW. The Android app is in private beta currently, notes the exec. Why would it have been tough ? Both are on clones of UNIX ! Programs generally run on text files and not binaries. Only the kernel runs on binaries. Should not be that complicated to edit the text files !
