I apologize firstly if for some reason I missed this guide somewhere...however I've looked all over and have yet to find an answer to my question. What I want to do is take some DVD's, extract the subs, and make the subs permanent so that I can reauthor it with a program that doesn't have a subtitle option to reauthor with. Any help?

Sorry...I should have added the fact that I'm talking about editing a .srt file, making it permanent, and putting back in with the .VOB. Or do I have to somehow change the .VOB to an AVI and then back to a .VOB?
