how do i boot psx1 backup cdr games on my version 3 ps2

help would be greatful

Depends what chip you have. Most chips you just put in the PS1 backup and it automatically plays.

you can use older versions of gameshark (I think v2 or older) or breaker pro.

Boot the PS2 with the Gameshark v2 Bonus disc that contains the PS1 codes, select start game without codes, swap game disc in using flip-top, and push the botton indicated on the screen ( X I believe).
