Hi is there anyway to make my 20gb seagate harddrive work in my ps2 i hear it loading but then a message comes up saying hardware error someone on this forum said they tested a 20gb harddrive (seagate) and installed 2 games on it but i can't remember who it was

As far as I know you can not use anything less than 40GB hard drive. Even the official PS2 drive is 40GB. I will ask around and if i hear anything different i will relay the info to you. Hope that this or some info that i find will help you.

I tried to use the dms format tool and it says hdd not connected when it is i have the sony network adapter

hi there

i am usuing a 20gig seagate hard disk and it works...
i just get the freeze on the hd loader screen but i can over come this by pressing eject when the hard disk powers down.....

try makin sure that ur hard disk is in properly and it is set on master drive and screw on ur network adaptor properly

i got it to work but games are messed up like driver its sooo slow loading and cutscenes skip and in spiderman 2 cutscenes and music skip and in spyphon filter everything skips but they work fine on the dvd disc there is no scratched on the disc
