According to Microsoft themselves, Windows Phone has just surpassed the iPhone in the world's largest market. WOW this is the beginning of the big take over of the smart phone market by Microsoft.

Why am I not surprised ? M$ was a pretty big name in PDA market some years ago. I have used it for several years at the turn of the century and eas extremely happy with performance.

Add telephony capability + some standard internet features per current technology and you have the makings of a really smart phone. All they have to do is to not restrict software that can be installed AND keep the OS licensing fee at a reasonable level. No arm twisting either!
