Japanese gamers pick 3DS over Vita. After a slow start for its 3D gaming handheld, Nintendo has started to pick up some momentum with the 3DS. We won't buy the 3DS for the simple reason that a year ago we bought the DSi XL (which is still being sold new in stores), but Nintendo almost immediately stopped making new games for it -- all new games are/will be 3D. Our next portable console will likely be the Vita since even though we own all the consoles we're mostly a PS3 family anyway. Nintendo really screwed over its entire DSi owner base.
