I am an ardent fan of making SVCDs and burning them to DVD-Rs. I did not realize that some of the more later players now will play AVI's directly without encoding to MPegs.

However, this feature is not, to my knowledge, commonly known or advertised and I would appreciate if you would be willing to tell what stand alone DVD players are known to play these AVIs.
