Hi there. I just installed a DUO chip into my V5 Pal PS2. I've done a friend's one before and came out in flying colours. With this one the DVD drive does not get recognized by the PS2 and it boots into the config screen instead. The DVD tray ejects but does not go back in when the eject button is depressed. I've carefully traced all the wires for correct attachment and continuity. I've also done a very neat and fine soldering job. One other thing to mention is I did this time damage the DVD laser ribbon with my tweezers, but I have since replaced it with an identical ribbon.....but still to no avail! Any tips guys before I go buy another one. :(
