RIPPING KEEPS CRASHING

I have ripped 100s of discs with no problem. But over the last week my PC crashes halfway through every other disc. I have not altered hardware or software.

Thanks for any input

maybe software is not compatible towards other software
no enough memory of ram. virus ,worm virus.

Is your optical drive worn out? Mine is. Well, not my optical, but my.... Well, never mind. :)

I don't really know the life of DVD ROM'S or burners, but I would bet that at some point they will fail, and possibly cause computer crashes.
