In need of some help. I have a brand new version 7 that I installed a magic 3.1 on. Worked great for about 7 months. No problems, used it everyday. Modded about 10 of them or so..

All of the sudden I get just a black screen. Nothing at all loads. Not the balls, bios, nothing. I have power as the reset and eject light all work. They light up the right colors, the tray ejects fine just nothing on the screen. The cd or dvd spins up fine also.

I completely uninstalled the chip, cleaned the board, triple checked all the cables. Can't get anything on bootup. I checked the cords and TV. I plugged in my other ps2's and have no problems. So I know the channel and cords are fine...

Anyone have any ideas? t was working along just fine. I can't see how it can be solder bridging or solder balls as it was working fine. Is this new PS2 headed to the heap yard..LOL Thankz...Peace.
