is there away to format a dvd so that you can use it again? what i mean is i burned a dvd with 123copydvd it burn just a little bit then it stop. oh a freind of mine gave me a copy of dvdxcopy but my problem is that he didn't know the passphase to open it it is pgp self decryping . can you help?

Unless it's a rewritable disc, no.
