If you're ripping in the IFO mode, switch to the Stream Processing tab. From here just select one channel, audio in this case. Don't select the video. Click on the Decrypt button and wait. DVD Decrytper will output the file in VOB format. I usually do it with TMPGEnc under the MPEG TOOLS (DeMultiplex or something..)

Hint:
Instead of "thinking" about the suggestions offered, if you actually try using the programs, many things become extremely clear :-)

Being prepared is one thing, doing nothing and asking questions is another. If you get the software, read the manual and give it a try; then you can ask particular questions if something goes wrong. One can talk what if for an eternity. Jump in, get your feet wet and I'm sure someone will be willing to answer your questions if things go wrong.
BTW, you can't just change file extensions and expect things to work. Sometimes you might get away with it, but I wouldn't use it as a rule.

Of course you can't change a JPEG file to VOB file and expect to work. LOL. But we all know that the source is an audio track AC3. Decrypter wasn't programmed to output into any other file format for ripping a VOB track. All I got to say is, it worked for me.
I guess you have to "try it" to know if it works or not. LOL.
