Hello,

Can anyone recommend software for organising DV tapes? Ideally, it would download the tape automatically, split it into scenes and for each of the scenes it would create a representative jpeg (first frame?) along with the tape name/number, the timecodes of the frame start/stop and a description.

Thus, rather than loading all of the scenes on a terabyte disk farm for access, they could stay on their tapes and be easily reloaded onto a working disk.

Any suggestions?
