Hello folks, I'm new here, so go easy.

My trusty old multi-region Phillips has died after a good 5 years of use (maybe more, can't rememeber exactly when I got it!).

So I'm in the market for a new standalone box. I need it to play DVDs/VCDs/DivX/XVid. I am not bothered if it plays MP3s or whatever because I play all my music off my Zen (like an i-Pod, but half the price and 3 times longer battery life) anyway.

I'd prefer the player to be under 100 UK pounds, but I can go up to around 200 to get a good quality player.

What's the best on the market at the moment?
