I used DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter, and all seemed to proceed sucessfully. However, only small portions of the movies will play on my Panasonic hooked up to my TV. The copies won't play at all on my computer. Also, the original DVDs won't play correctly on my computer with my DVD/CD-RW or my DVD-RW; it seems to skip through the whole thing.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Is the original source scratched or damaged?

No, and it plays just fine on my TV.

That's kind of a good thing ... because it doesnt indicate you've done something wrong yet... try the original on another computer to rule out the possibility of a messed up computer

Instead of burning them onto DVD discs, use an Image burner and then try watching them using a virtual drive like Daemon Tools ( http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cdr_software/cdr_tools/daemon_tools.cfm )

Are you having problems with one or two dvds or all dvds? Also, notice you have a two burners ... which is the master drive? And what program are you using to play the dvd's on your pc? Last, what brand of media are you using?

I've been playing around, and it seems I can play the originals using InterActual Player, but they all skip if I try to use InterVideo WinDVD4.

I'm not able to copy any of my DVDs.

I'm not sure what you mean by "master drive", but one will only burn CDs and the other will burn DVDs too. The later is external.

The brand of media I'm using is Maxell.

You can't copy ... or can't get your copies to work? How about posting your steps(using Shrink and Decrypter). Which dvd burner do you have, and is the firmware up to date?

Also try this free player:
http://www.cliprex.com/

And if you don't have any RW's, do what Praetor suggested.
