A new survey shows that a good portion of Americans don't care about 4G or 4G LTE. Via research firm Piper Jaffray, the survey of 3000 U.S. consumers found that 47 percent don't feel that they need 4G, while 26 percent suggested they believe all 4G networks are exactly the same. 15 percent of those polled claimed 4G LTE is the best network technology, with the final 12 percent saying '4G' is. ... [ read the full article ]

...and not one of them offers 4G...they just call their networks 4G. Seeing polls like this make it very clear why apple does so well.

Where is the % showing "I have no idea what 4G is"? because you know a lot of consumers have no idea on the difference, and will be a good portion of those not caring. That said some of those that think they're all the same won't have a good understanding either!

LTE means you use your data that much faster, since the robbers are charing more for less. they should charge $1.00 Per GB. they would still make millions, since i would be buying a good Terabytle a month lol

How about data cards. that u can buy, ya know, 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10GB cards. even on a contract plan. I find an open wifi somewhere, i dont care if its not mine. Im using it. learn to secure your shit.

Ignorance is bliss. 3g vs 4gLTE is like comparing a VW to a Ferrari. Speed, speed, speed. Most people are ignorant and totally uninformed. Where do they get these people in their polls; back alley or dead end road???

BTW does anyone know that adding the "G" sound (spelled jee in written form) to any Indian's first name is a form of addressing that person with high respect !!!!

I got bit by a Giga one time. I went to the hospital and the doctor looked at the wound and asked me "Giga byte" and I said "yes".
