been reading a few posts, can anyone confirm this or not

booting ps2 backups, without a modchip,fliptop ect

1. Load up Action Replay
2. Choose "Play Without Codes"
3. Hold the EJECT BUTTON until it turns orange, wait for the drive to eject.
4. Quickly swap the AR disc with any DVD or CD backup.
5. Play the game with No mod chips, No flip tops, No swipe cards?

Is this confirmed by anyone else?

I think you need a No-Solder mod chip for it to work.

But I never actually tried it, because I don't on an Action Replay 2 or Gameshark 2.

This method does not work, if it were that simple why would anyone need a mod chip??...

That someone didnt realise they had a no solder mod installed...
