eBay shows off new logo

eBay has updated their logo, moving away from the the look they've had since inception. The new design will "retain bits of the brand's history while reflecting its position as a modern, reliable marketplace that offers a variety of buying/selling experiences." They changed fonts, WOW, big change they really gambled with the new change.

This must be the P.C. solution that change is good no matter if you change for the better, worst, or better yet nothing changed as a result of the change.

Microsoft did it, so why not eBay? Is this supposed to get us to shop there more?

It's like your boss trying to give you a title rather than a raise. Sounds great, but doesn't do shit for your bottom line.
