T-Mobile to offer nano-SIM cards for unlocked iPhone 5 owners

T-Mobile has confirmed it will begin stocking nano-SIM cards starting next month for unlocked iPhone 5 owners.

That certainly is an interesting stratagem. "We're not allowed to carry the iphone, so we're going to support it on our network anyway." More power to you, T-Mo.

the key word is unlocked if t mobile is not an official carrier they can not get the contract iphone buyers but with (factory)unlocked (read up on this carrier unlocked is not what this means i think ) you can go anywhere and get full speed because of the LTE type of bandwidth that is being rolled out everywhere

Sorry if it was confusing. The iPhone does not support T-Mobile's 3G or 4G bands. However, in those three markets, the carrier has put up signals that are supported by the new iPhone, the 1900 band I believe.

T-Mobile is in the process of converting its entire 3G/4G network over to the 1900mhz band which will make it compatible with the iPhone and any other unlocked GSM device. New York, Vegas, and Seattle have already been upgraded and the rest of the network will be done before the end of this year.
