Would an annual Afterdawn member convention be a good idea or not?
We could start next year (to give me time to save up) and hold it over in the states (to give me an excuse to go there)
What do you think people?

Or is there already an annual convention and you're all keeping it from me.

Used to stay with an aunt and uncle in Milnathort near Kinross many years ago. Been all over Scotland, I heared rumour that the ferry over to the Isle of Skye has gone now and that some idiot built a bridge.
I got photo's of me somewhere taking part in a mock shotgun wedding in Gretna Green too. Aah those were the days.

I've done a couple of PS2 games with Alcohol 120% cos the kids keep wrecking the originals but I can't use them yet until I have my Silver PS2 chipped.
It's £65 in Cardiff for the Magic V chip, supplied and fitted, just haven't got around to it yet.
I don't use Messenger, too insecure.
I use a program called Safe Xp to disable it so that I can enable it if I need it.

What an appropriate subject for Afterdawn/safety valve: Beer.
20% alcohol is a bit much for beer. But 8-9% can be very tasty. In that category, Delirium Tremens and Duvel are two Belgian beers that I wish were available all over the world. They wouldn't cost much more than the other fare.

So,
if an official convention is too much hassle to organise then an informal meet would be better.
Pick a date next year, agree on a location and sort out our own hotels (or tents, or shop doorways).
Then we can all meet up in a restaurant or bar or something.
I don't care where we go as long as there's no spiders.
Can't stand bloody spiders, that's why I won't go to Australia. I don't even talk to Australians just to be on the safe side.
Evil things.
