I live in the UK and the TV system is PAL. I have a couple of problems using the Intervideo MSI PVS TV/VCR recording ? I receive good quality TV pictures, with sound by hooking up the PC, via an RF cable, to the TV. Equally, I get a picture on the PC from my VCR, again with sound, using a scart adaptor with S-Video and audio leads. The problems are as follows:

1) The picture from the VCR is okish, but it tends to alternate between colour and black and white images.

2) The main problem is when I try to record from the TV or VCR. When I press the Record Button, on the Intervideo MSIPVS programme, the Intervideo MSIPVS screen goes to black with a warning box ?Recording in this resolution without viewing?. Quite soon after this there is a second box which reads as follows ?Intervideo?Win DVR. Application has encountered a problem and needs to close?. Then the program closes!

The only explanation I can think of is that when I load the program I am told that once the MSI PVS drivers are installed the next stage involves installing the nVidia Capture Card. The installation process never gets to this point.

When using Intervideo WinDVD I still have the black and white problem, but I can record.

Sorry for the long post - it equates to the length of time I have spent trying to resolve this issue!

Any advice very welcome.
