Christians slam Apples logo's blasphemy!

Russian Christians find blasphemy in Apple logo.
The Orthodox Christians apparently believe that the iconic Apple logo - an Apple with a bite taken out of it - symbolizes the original sin of Adam and Eve in the Bible. In fact, the Apple logo (and company name) is inspired by Isaac Newton, who became obsessed with gravity after an Apple allegedly landed on his head after falling from a tree.

This is bloody ridiculous! Why would the Russian people stand for a state enforced theocracy after throwing off the shackles of communism only decades before. They obviously have very short memories. Also, nowhere in the bible does it say that Eve ate an apple. It was the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And as I'm an atheist it means I've actually read the bloody thing... unlike these, supposed, xtians.

I find this quite foolish. Taking into consideration all events occurring in our world right now, that this would even be a topic of public interest.

Uh, if they're so offended by it, just don't buy Apple's products. It just doesn't make sense that they would still buy or even keep the product, then cover the logo with a cross if they indeed thought it was blasphemous. What's scary is the passing of anti-blasphemy laws; what a nifty little tool for strict governmental control.

Just to add, that band was sent to labor camps a little while ago it's been reported... Russia never changed, just a temporary reset for the old Kremlin.

religion is so full of so many contradictions its not funny but i wont get into a religious debate as it would get the topic closed very quickly.adam and eve is just a story with no scientific evidence to back it up.how they can say something is blasphemy based on a made up story is rediculous.
custom built gaming pc from early 2010,ps2 with 15 games all original,ps3 500gbs with 5 games all original,yamaha amp and 5.1channel surround sound speakers,46inch sony lcd smart tv.

I don't know were the world is going, we have got so many countries with anti-blasphemy laws, muslim, christian etc etc...the space worldwide for free thinking people is getting smaller

i dont have a problem with religion but its stuff like this that makes me mad.they are entitiled to there views and opinions but when they start affecting people and pushing there views down other peoples throats that is a problem.
as for apple they are not the best company and i have been known to bag them out on here.but for once they are actually innocent.
