Well, after many long coaster-making nights I have reached the ultimate: Coaster-free copying!

Two products: DVD DECRYPTER - DVD SHRINK

Three easy steps: RIP IT - SHRINK IT - BURN IT!

Rip with DVD Decrypter - make it an .ISO file.
Shrink it with DVD Shrink - back it up as an .ISO file
Burn it with DVD Decrypter
Thats it and its 100% successful for me.

Things to note:

Don't do anything on your computer that sucks alot of energy while your creating your DVD. It might crash the process.

Some people like to re-author the DVD. I don't bother because, even if the original is over 7GB and it gets cut down to 4.7GB. I SIMPLY CAN'T SEE ANY LOSS IN QUALITY! So I don't bother leaving extras out etc.

You only need to use Decrypter first if Shrink can't rip the dvd, and that's rare :)

So use Shrink to rip, compress and encode ... then use Decrypter to burn.

1) Open Shrink, open disc
2) Click "backup!"
3) Change your target destination to "ISO Image File", then check the box to Launch DVD Decrypter

Under the "backup options" tab check the box to "Perform deep analysis". This will help picture quality in longer movies.

4) Click ok.

When burning with DVD Decrypter, make sure the box for verify is unchecked. If it is checked can cause errors :-)
