'Modern Warfare 4' work already under way

article published on 30 October, 2012

Modern Warfare 4 in development. According to a lead voice actor, Infinity Ward's next game will be "Modern Warfare 4," as expected. Bill Murray (not that Bill Murray), is the voice actor for Captain Price, the protagonist of the series. In an interview with ThisIsXbox, Murray says he has already begun work on the next game, with a meeting next week to speak with the developer about the title. ... [ read the full article ]

"..likely to see release for the holidays of next year.", if the last 6 yearly installments weren't evidence enough :P

Seriously though, the CoD games are some of the most vapid and overrated First-Person Shooters in the history of video games. Goldeneye 007 for the N64 possesses more depth than every CoD game combined!

I would have to agree on Golden Eye. However, I did like the original CoD. I like WWII stuff.

Today CoD seems like Madden. My suggestion is have 3 CoD titles in the franchise and rotate them every 3 years. You will have 3 design teams, and maybe, just maybe turn out a good game or 2.

I like multi-player and I will admit, will be buying black-ops 2.

Oooh man.........you just brought some nostalgia to me with Golden Eye. I loved that game!

You are completely and emphatically correct though. I am not a fan of COD games because they are dramatically overrated and nothing more than the same games with different maps. EA should be ashamed of themselves for reinventing their own lame ass game simply to make money while putting the least amount of creative effort forward.

You could argue most new games are just variants of an older one, year after year another FIFA game comes out, same as tiger woods, I mean seriously how much can u change the way a ball is kicked/hit into a target!
I buy any cod game but don't usually bother with the campaign, usually just play online, I got mw3 on release day and the campaign is still shrink wrapped (so to speak), preordered blops 2 and lookin forward to trying it out!!
