i have a 512kb/s internet connection and the download speed that i get is about 50kb/s and when i reed in here people saying about 200kb/s i was impressed but ive tryed everything and nothing happens. i have a personal firewall Mcafee, i use bittorrent. my computer is an AMD Athlon 2200 can i get better download speed than this. thanks for your help

a connection like that could only achieve up to 50kb/s. People who go above 200kb/s at maximum would have about 2MB connection! 512kb/s doesnt mean you could download at that speed! To tweak your conenction a bit though visit http://www.speedguide.net

Only other option is to uncap your modem but its illegal to steal bandwidth so I would highly recommend you do not do that! lol
