ok i got a site. that has movies on it like 3 hours long like a hundres. i can play them in my wma. how can i burn these to hd and burn to a dvd?

What player is a WMA? Windows Media Player is sometimed refered to as WMP.

TMPGEnc and TMPGEnc DVD Author can encoded Windows media files from your HDD and author them to a DVD.

If you mean that these are streaming video, then you need to use streaming media recording software to record them to your HDD.

ya the videos are on a site. and it asks for high resolution or low an you click on them to p[lay them. which software is the best? I dunno if its stream or somthing else let me look. ya you jsut click on wma or real player or quicktime. if you could help me out what i want to do is record to hd then burn to a dvd. What software do i use for the burning to the dvd? and such

note that there is no url for the movie jsut says click one or the other medias then it pops up and plays in aanother window.

You will have to learn streaming media recording to get the files you want. All the information you need is at that site but you will have to do some reading.

If you record Windows Media you can use the TMPGEnc programs above to encode, author and burn.
If you record Real Media or Quicktime you will have to use additional plug-ins or other software to make the DVD.

To make it easy you should just start with streaming media recording of Windows Media streams and then make a DVD with TMPGEnc.

i got wm recorder but i can only record it for 2 min i was actually able to record som the ofthe material on the stream. But its a trial issue and i cant record anymore time than 2 min. Is there a program like this that i can use for more than 2 min? if so can you plz help?

There are many free streaming media recorders in the list of our FAQ. The FAQ also list some methods for finding stream URL's like URL Snooping (Project URL Snooper), view-source:, View Link Source and others.

WM Recorder in it's recording method does many times find the Stream URL for recording. In that sense it is a type of URL Snooper. The URL that it finds can be used in other free streaming media recorders like GetASFStream, Net Transport, SDP Multimedia, ETC.
