Is it just me, but it seems really stupid to have 120 different encodes? Sure i can see the stream and the compression/size of the video will greatly impact users, but having 120 different encodes just seems like Netflix has no clue.

So I tried Netflix for the first time the yesterday.

Does anybody feel that the quality looks like...well...those classic pirated dvdrips? Man...I haven't seen those dvdrip quality in ages. I always go for bluray rips and the occasional BXE. I found the quality to be very off on my laptop. And what is up with the movie selection? They are horrible. The movies are from like 10 years ago and they are in the "featured films".

Canceled my subscription.

It's fantastic for TV series. I'd say i've watched 70-80 percent of all my TV via Netflix via full seasons. The movie selection is lacking, yes.

The only thing I never liked about Netflix, particularly on the Xbox 360, is the removal of the Party feature. Other than that, great service. Finally watched Breaking Bad thanks to Netflix, great series!
