Any experiences about Princo 4x DVD-R disks, and how they work if you burn PS2 DVD-ISO images on them? Mine aren't working well, "unable to read disk" is a very usual comment from my machine. I was just thinking that maybe I should change the media. I am using DVD Decrypter and Nec-2510 DVD-burner.

Princos are most often referred to as pure junk. Using better media would almost certainly guarantee better results.

If you take the time to browse this forum there are several threads concerning the best media for PS2 backups.

Yeah, you'd have a better chance getting a game to run if you burned it on a piece of garlic bread.

Well actually, on a good day Princo are perfectly reasonable for PS2 games.

Trouble is, they're so unpredictable. One disc/batch will be great, the next nigh-on unusable.

*IF* you get them cheap enough and *IF* you have a Pioneer or NEC2500A writer and *IF* you can get your money back if you get crap ones they may be worth a shot.
