Alcatel has used their CES showcase to launch the "world's thinnest smartphone," the One Touch Idol Ultra. Additionally, the company unveiled what it claims to be the lightest smartphone in the world, the One Touch Idol. Thin is overrated. I have a Note II and it is very thin. Sometimes I find it difficult to handle because it is so thin.
If this phone is thinner than that then it would be too thin in my mind.
