ZTE has used CES to unveil their new flagship. The 5-inch 1080p 'Grand S' dispaly will feature 440ppi and be protected by Gorilla Glass 2. Grand S flagships will run on Android Jelly Bean, be powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core processor and include 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and an LTE radio. The unibody design clocks in at a thin 6.9mm. China seems to be stepping up their cellphone game... Hopefully their price is extremely competitive too.

Once again, that's not enough battery power, I'm afraid. Every smartphone maker should stop making their handsets so thin and take benefit of the extra room by placing some extra battery cells in there.

I don't care if my phone is thicker or a bit heavier if that's the only price for it having the capacity of lasting for a couple of days without charging at all. In fact, as a personal taste, I don't like these devices being THAT thin. It gives me the impression of fragility. I bet most users think likewise.

I agree with you 100%, but sadly looks is all that most people care about. The cooler the better, regardless of the negatives that come with it.
