ok I'm not sure where this should go,so if it needs to go in a different forum,so if it needs to please tell me first
but since it has to do with media player classic,I did here
and I did search and found nothing about it
anyway here's my problem:
a week ago I was having codec issues and problems...and it seemed like some things would work, others wouldn't,etc.
so after searching and searching I installed a mega codec pack (I forget if it was the ace one or the k-lite one) and it seemed to fix everything...at this time I should've tested to see if real player and real media worked or not...since I had clicked and thought I uninstalled everything...real player included...so since I had my codecs up to date I thought, why not upgrade Real Player while I'm at it....and well....I installed the trial of Real Player 10...and tried to play something in it....next thing I know I'm getting the command line commands for Media Player Classic
So...I went back to Real Player 8 (Still had the setup.exe of it in C:programs
eal
ealplayersetup weridly enough
now here's my problem....I can't seem to play Real files or formats or media like I used to in Media Player Classic for some odd reason...and I gave it more thought and I'm not even too sure about quicktime either
my Codecs seem to be up to date and installed...I even used something called Codec All-in-1-Pack to upgrade Divx to the new 5.2...yet it seems the other two things...which I think MPC used to be known as the "Alternative to" (e.g. Real/Quicktime Alternative Player) no longer work in said Alternate Player
anyone able to help me out here? please?
Thanks A Bunch to anybody who replys
