Hi,

I have downloaded Thief DS but cannot unpack it. I used HJsplit to join the files into one and gave it the .RAR extension to be able to open it with winrar. Next i open the .RAR file and i see just one .BIN no .CUE in the archive. When i try to unpack the file to be able to mount the image it asks for the .R00 file as if it is and .rar archive split in pieces. But in fact it seems to be a set of HJsplit files.
The files came with a .SFV file and i used WINSFV to check if i have all the files but i am not sure if i did it right. I think it went right and i have all the files.
Anyway i can't unpack the .BIN now and i don't know what i am doing wrong. Can anyone help me out here?

I think maybe the file i get after joining the HJsplit files isn't a .RAR archive after all. Since it comes without an extension i don't know for sure but if i open it with winrar i can see a .BIN inside so i suppose that is correct. I can remember there is software available to check what kind of file it is but i don't know the name.

i might be able to help you with winrar, since its free-ware, and not a game, just right click on the FIRST file of the sfv split. (usually .ooo or .oo1) Then open (choose program) with winrar, if your winrar is up to date, you will see data as if it were already combined. Extract to wherever, youre good to go. Remember if you change the file names of a bin/cue, update the cue manually with notepad. Take care!

Erm guys, I think talking of downloaded games are allowed now, according to the new piracy rules.

P.S. I don't really like the new rules, but I'm following them too.

Everyone is entitled to their own true opinion. Either respect that or don't.
