A Chinese Ministry of Culture official has denied the rumor that the country is looking to overturn a long standing ban on video game consoles in the nation. I think the Chinese government will not overturn a long standing ban on video game consoles in the nation.

They say it is because of violent and sexual games but I think the bigger worry is potential "Spy Ware" embedded within the console hardware/software allowing US/outside access to the Chinese networks.
