Convert a small VOB (220MB) file into something small.

Hi,

I ripped a track out of a DVD, and its sitting in my HDD as a 220MB VOB file.

Is there anyway to convert this file to avi or mpg....as in, make the file size smaller so I can upload it on to the internet?

The length of the clip is only about 4 mins long.

p/s: the clip is actually a photo montage of my wedding, and I wanna upload it so my friends can download it themselves, rather then burn a dvd for every single one of them.

i would use xvid, if your friends is not tech savvy or a clueless newbie. i would say windows media (wmv) or mpeg 1. how to do this ? check out the guide section ;)
