Best Avi to dvd converting software?

I've been using dvd shrink for a while now with no complaints, and now i want to try to convert some AVI movies to dvd. What is currently the best software for this? I tried DvdSanta (demo), it converted fine, but the audio was like 20 seconds off. Are there any good Free software titles out there like DVD shrink? I'm willing to pay for any software as long as its worth it. Thanks
