Problem with d0 on Xcuter 2.3 pro

So i installed this chip into one box and now i get chirstmas lights on it. I tried installing the chip on another box and it when i was testing it i got christmas lights again!, then i accidently pulled the d0 out and the xbox worked fine! Now my other xbox is completaly dead and im 99% sure it was installed correct and now im wondering if its jsut a bad chip? Help please.
